You have a lease, a permit timeline, and a distributor who wants to know when to drop the first order. What you don’t have is shelving on the floor. Most owners get to this point and discover the fixture quote they were counting on came with a six-week lead time, or the “package” they were sold covers island runs but no end caps, no base shelves, and no wall units for the cooler-adjacent walls.
We’re a Texas-based supplier that stocks new gondola shelving in standard heights and depths, so the parts that hold up a build — uprights, base shelves, upper shelves, back panels — are the parts we keep on hand. Send us a rough floor plan or use the free layout tool at Build My Store to draw your runs first. Then we price the package and quote freight to your address.
We stock, we don’t drop-ship blind.
Gondola inventory sits in our Texas warehouse, so when we quote a lead time we’re quoting off a shelf count, not a manufacturer’s promise.
The layout comes before the quote.
Use the free Build My Store tool to place your runs and aisles yourself, and we’ll price exactly what you drew — no guessing at section counts over the phone.
We’ll tell you when to buy less.
If your floor plan can’t support five island runs at reasonable aisle width, or a wall run would block a cooler door, we say so before it ships.
A few decisions come up on almost every build — new versus used shelving, how our system compares to the big national brands, and how to lay the floor out. Start with these:
Island and wall gondola in 54″ and 72″ heights with 16″, 20″, and 22″ depths are the configurations we hold in our Texas warehouse, and those move fastest — wall units run up to 96″. Call 469-277-2710 with your opening date first; we’ll tell you what’s reachable before we build a quote around it.
Gondola shelving ships by freight, always quoted per order based on your address, weight, and access — we don’t quote flat shipping on it. Delivery is to a commercial address with dock or curbside unload; this is a B2B order, so we don’t ship gondola to homes. Units bolt together without welding, and a two-person crew can typically stand and level a 20′ island run in an afternoon.
Rough rule for a 1,500–2,500 sq ft c-store: three to five island runs down the sales floor plus wall runs on whatever perimeter isn’t taken by coolers, register, and back-of-house. Hold your main aisles at 44″–48″ and your secondary aisles no tighter than 36″. Draw it in our free Build My Store tool and the section count falls out of the drawing.
Used makes real sense in two situations: you’re filling a back stockroom where cosmetics don’t matter, or you found a local teardown of the same brand and notch spacing you already run. It stops making sense when you need matched finishes across a full sales floor, specific shelf depths, or a guaranteed delivery date — used lots are whatever they are, and mismatched uprights cost you time on the floor. We sell new, and we’ll say plainly when new isn’t the smarter buy for your situation.
