You signed a lease on a space with eighteen linear feet of blank wall and a floor plan that has to hold vapes, glass, wraps, kratom, batteries, and impulse items without looking like a storage closet. Right now the product is in boxes, the buildout crew wants a date, and every fixture supplier you’ve called either quotes you a pallet of shelving you don’t need or doesn’t stock the color you want.
We stock slatwall in 8 colors by the panel, plus the hooks, shelves, and glass accessories that go in it — so the wall does the heavy lifting and the floor stays open for cases and racks. Everything ships from our Texas warehouse on freight, to commercial addresses only. Send us your wall measurements and we’ll tell you exactly how many panels you need before you buy one.
250+ smoke shop buildouts.
We’re a Texas-based supplier shipping from our own Texas warehouse, and smoke shops are the store type we’ve outfitted more than any other.
Panel counts before you buy.
Send wall measurements and we’ll tell you how many 4x8 panels, which inserts, and how many hooks per foot — including the panels you’ll cut around outlets and doors.
We’ll tell you when slatwall is the wrong choice.
If your wall is unsound, temporary, or you only need one small run, we’ll steer you to gridwall or a floor fixture instead of selling you a pallet of panels.
The measuring math, the wall-system tradeoff, and the layout basics — written out in full so you don’t have to take notes on a phone call:
Standard hooks hold 10 to 15 pounds and heavy-duty hooks 25 pounds or more, with panels mounted into studs carrying roughly 40 to 75 pounds per linear foot. For heavy items like glass water pipes or long shelf runs, order panels with heavy-duty aluminum groove inserts and use bracketed shelves — brackets run 8″ to 16″ — rather than single hooks. Tell us what’s going on the wall and we’ll spec the inserts and bracket spacing.
The 4x8 sheets stock in 8 finishes: Black, White, Gray, Paint Grade, Hard Rock Maple, Mahogany, Rustic, and Mirror. Groove inserts are available in vinyl, snap-in plastic, and heavy-duty aluminum. Finishes wipe clean and hold color under LED lighting. Call before you set your install date — color availability moves, and we’ll confirm what’s on the floor at our Texas warehouse that week.
Slatwall and gridwall both mount to the wall, and both need to hit structure. Screw slatwall through the drywall into studs at 16″ or 24″ centers, using the groove as your screw line so the fasteners disappear; on block or concrete, use furring strips or masonry anchors. A two-person crew can hang a 16-foot wall in two courses in a morning.
Yes, and it’s the standard smoke shop layout: free-standing glass cases sit on the floor along the wall for high-value product, with slatwall running above them for hanging goods. Slatwall, gridwall, and gondola shelving always ship by freight, so every order needs a freight quote — we’ll price panels, cases, and counters on one shipment where possible. Commercial addresses only, with someone on site to receive the pallets.
